Event Transportation Services for the Valley’s Big Nights
Every big night has the same weak spot, and it’s the last hour. Getting in is usually fine. Getting 20 people out of a crowd, to one vehicle, at the same moment, after a show that ran 25 minutes long, is where plans come apart. That last hour is what we plan around.
Musikfest and SteelStacks
Musikfest takes over Bethlehem every August, with stages on Main Street and across the river on the SouthSide around SteelStacks. The festival has public shuttles of its own. What we run is private: your group, collected at your door, dropped near the stage you want and picked up at a time and corner you choose. Streets close for the festival, so that spot is usually 1 or 2 blocks from the action, picked once we know where you’re going. SteelStacks hosts shows through the rest of the year as well, and Wind Creek is right next door. There’s more on the city under Bethlehem on our Lehigh Valley page.

PPL Center Concerts and Phantoms Games
A sold-out show at PPL Center empties onto Hamilton Street all at once, and the downtown garages drain slowly. A pickup on a side street 1 or 2 blocks away, agreed before the show, beats standing in the crowd hunting for your ride. Stadium and concert transportation to Philadelphia, MetLife and Penn State is covered under Game Days and Concerts, further down this page.
Christkindlmarkt and Holiday Nights
Christkindlmarkt runs at SteelStacks from November into December, and Christmas City is crowded on weekend evenings. Holiday groups often pair it with dinner on Main Street and a walk past the lights. December means cold waits and a real chance of snow, so plan the pickup close to a warm door.

Prom Transportation for Bigger Groups
When a prom group grows past 12, a limo stops making sense. A party bus holds 20 to 40, puts the photos and the arrival in one place, and saves parents from coordinating 3 cars. Couples and smaller groups usually book our limo service. Check the school’s prom packet first for vehicle registration and any after-prom drop-off rules.
Galas, Fundraisers and Convention Shuttles
Hosts need event transportation services too: an event shuttle between a remote parking lot and the venue keeps a gala’s front drive clear, and a convention shuttle loops between hotels and the meeting space for 2 or 3 days. The gala math is further down this page.
A Bachelor Party Limo or a Birthday Party Bus
A bachelor party limo for 8 to 12 often means dinner in Allentown, a few hours at Wind Creek and a late stop on the SouthSide. A birthday party bus for a 21st or a 40th runs much the same night with more people aboard. The house rules for the vehicle come with the quote.

Game Days and Concerts
Fan clubs, office groups, alumni clubs, youth teams and 40th-birthday crowds share one problem at a stadium: it’s close enough for a day trip and hard enough to park at that a bus makes sense. A 56-passenger coach is the standard game-day bus, with under-floor bays for bags and gear; sizes are on our charter bus rental page. Closer to home, PPL Center and Musikfest nights work as described above, and an IronPigs bus to Coca-Cola Park, off American Parkway near Route 22, makes an easy company outing.

Eagles and Phillies in South Philadelphia
Lincoln Financial Field is about 1½ hours from Allentown in normal traffic, down the Northeast Extension (I-476) and the Blue Route to I-95. On game day, the last few miles into the stadium complex can add 30 minutes or more. For a 1 p.m. kickoff, a 9:30 a.m. pickup puts the bus in its lot by about 11:15. After the final whistle, clearing the lot can take 30 to 60 minutes, so a group rolling by 5:00 is home around 6:45. Buses park in lots set aside for them, and a pass usually has to be arranged ahead and can sell out for big games. Tailgating depends on the lot’s rules and on what your quote allows, and it moves the arrival earlier, so ask on the request. Phillies trips use the same complex, but an evening first pitch meets weekday rush hour on I-476, which moves the pickup up.

Penn State and MetLife Stadium
Beaver Stadium is about 3 hours each way, through Harrisburg or across I-80. A noon kickoff means a 6:30 a.m. pickup; a 3:30 kickoff, around 10. A night game can run past what one driver may legally work in a day, so it may need a relief driver or an overnight with a room for the driver, in a town where game-weekend hotels sell out early. MetLife Stadium is about 1½ to 2 hours east on I-78 and the New Jersey Turnpike, and concerts there end late.

Before You Go
Charge phones for mobile tickets, check the venue’s bag rules (most stadiums and arenas now want clear bags), dress for the fourth quarter of a December game and take a photo of the bus and its lot number. If a playoff game could go to overtime, book an extra hour from the start and ask how time past the booking is counted. Book 4 to 8 weeks ahead for a regular-season Sunday and months ahead for Penn State’s biggest home games.

Vehicles by Group Size
Pick by headcount first, then by what the night needs. For 8 to 12, a stretch or Sprinter limo makes the ride part of the evening. For up to 14 who just need to arrive together, an Executive Sprinter does it. From 20 to 40, a party bus keeps a celebration in one place. Shuttle loops are minibus work, with 24 to 35 seats per run, and a motorcoach takes up to 56 when a whole club or company is going.

How Event Bookings Work
Give us the start time, the end time on the ticket and every pickup address. If friends come from 3 towns, one meeting point usually costs less than 3 pickups. The quote form has room for it all.
Show, Venue and Headcount
Which show, game or festival, how many are riding and their ages: that’s the start. Hosting a gala? Add the guest count and how long arrivals will last.
Wait Nearby or 2 Runs
We find a drop-off clear of the crowds and quote the vehicle waiting nearby, or 2 separate runs if you ask. The written quote also sets out the house rules.
Agree the Pickup Corner
Accept and we settle the pickup corner for after the show, plus when and where the night starts and who to call. Show running long? Call that contact.
Pickup Points, Shuttle Loops and the Rules for the Night
Pick the Pickup Spot Before You Go In
Agree the spot and time with the chauffeur or driver at drop-off, then share it with the group: a pin, a screenshot, a corner name. Decide among yourselves what happens if someone is missing at pickup, because a bus with 30 people aboard can’t circle Hamilton Street for 20 minutes waiting on one friend. The hours on the quote include the wait while you’re inside, unless the night is booked as separate drop-off and pickup runs.

Event Shuttle Math for Hosts
Take a gala with 200 guests parking at a lot 8 minutes from the door. A 35-seat minibus, with time to load, makes the round trip in about 25 minutes, so it moves roughly 80 people an hour. Arrivals spread across 90 minutes, so 2 buses handle the way in comfortably. The way out is the problem: most guests leave in the same half hour after the last speech. With 2 buses, the last guests reach their cars about 75 minutes after the first ones. With 3, the lot is clear in under an hour.
Convention Shuttles Over Several Days
A convention shuttle follows the program, so send it along with the room blocks for each hotel. On a long convention day, the quote shows whether the schedule needs a second driver or a split shift.

Why Event Groups Book DT Goods
Event nights almost never end on time. Build 20 minutes of slack into the pickup and you’ll rarely need to change it on the night.
Based in Orefield
We’re about 15 minutes from Allentown and from ABE, so Route 22 at rush hour, I-78 truck traffic and the Turnpike ramps are old news to us.
One Request, Any Size
A sedan for 2 or a coach for 56: the same form, the same people, one quote.
Always with a Chauffeur or Driver
Nothing here is self-drive. Every booking comes with someone behind the wheel whose job is getting your people there.
The Quote Comes in Writing
You see the price before anything is booked, and no card is ever taken on this website.
Timing Planned Backward
We start from the time that can’t move (a flight, a dinner reservation, a ceremony or a kickoff) and work back to the pickup, with room for traffic or a snowy morning.
Past the Valley, Still One Contact
When a trip starts somewhere else in the country, we arrange it through partner operators and you keep talking to us.
What Event Transportation Costs
Event pricing follows the vehicle size and the hours it’s out. Musikfest weekends, prom Saturdays and New Year’s Eve tend to book first, so it’s worth requesting event transportation services for those dates early.
Prom Transportation and Event Shuttle Questions
Musikfest nights, concert waits, prom groups, birthday buses and multi-day convention shuttles are all covered below.
Can You Drop Us at Musikfest and Pick Us Up at the End of the Night?
Yes. The drop-off is a spot outside the closed streets, as near as traffic allows to the stages you’re heading for, and the pickup time and corner are agreed before you walk in. The festival’s public shuttles run fixed routes; a private run leaves from your door and waits for your group only. Expect the last half hour of the night to move slowly on both sides of the river.
Does the Vehicle Wait During the Concert?
It can. Booked by the hour, the vehicle stays nearby for the whole show and is ready when you come out. The other way is 2 separate runs, one to the show and one home, which can price lower when the venue is close and the show is long. Ask for both on your request and compare them side by side on the written quote.
How Many People Fit on a Birthday Party Bus?
Party buses in this class carry 20 to 40, depending on the vehicle. Book for the people actually riding plus a little slack, because a 20-seat bus with 20 adults, coats and a sheet cake is full. Tell us the age group too: rules for minors apply, and your written quote states them; the party bus page lists the questions to ask.
What’s the Best Way to Handle Prom Transportation for a Big Group?
For 13 or more, a single party bus usually beats 2 or 3 limos: everyone arrives together, photos happen in one place, and parents have one vehicle to keep track of. Check the school’s rules first, since some want vehicles registered in advance or set a strict arrival window. For 12 or fewer, a stretch or Sprinter limo is usually the better fit; our limousine page walks through a prom night.
Do You Run Event Shuttles from a Parking Lot to a Venue?
Yes. Hosts book event shuttles between remote lots or hotels and the front door for galas, fundraisers, festivals and races. Tell us the expected headcount, how long arrivals will take and when the event ends, because the end of the night usually needs more seats than the start. The quote will show how many vehicles it takes and how long each loop runs.
Can the Bus Wait Near the Venue During the Show?
It usually waits nearby rather than at the door, because arenas and stadiums set their own rules for where buses can stand. We agree on a pickup point and a time before you go in, and the driver is there when the show lets out. On an hourly booking, that wait is part of the quote.
Can You Run a Convention Shuttle Over 2 or 3 Days?
Yes. Send the agenda, the hotels with their room blocks and the venue’s drop-off door. A bus driver’s working day is capped by federal hours-of-service rules, so a 14-hour convention day may need 2 drivers in shifts; the quote shows how the schedule is covered. Shuttles for events that start outside the Valley are arranged through partner operators.
