Who Uses a Shuttle Bus Rental
A shuttle day is any day when the vehicle runs the same leg more than once. That changes the planning. Instead of one departure time, we work out how long each loop takes, how many riders each wave carries, and when the last run leaves.
Wedding Shuttles
Hotel block to the ceremony, ceremony to the reception, then the late runs back after the last dance. A typical setup is a hotel in Center Valley or on the SouthSide and a barn venue 15 or 20 minutes out. The wedding shuttle plan is usually the part couples underestimate, so we start it early.

Employee Shuttle in the Lehigh Valley: Warehouses and Hospital Campuses
The I-78 corridor between Fogelsville and Easton is lined with distribution centers, many running more than one shift, and shift change is when people need a ride from a remote lot. Hospital campuses have the same issue with overflow parking. A shuttle that meets each shift on a fixed timetable takes cars off a full lot. Our corporate transportation page covers the rest of our work for employers.
College Shuttles: Move-In, Breaks and Formals
Lehigh, Lafayette, Muhlenberg, Moravian, DeSales and Kutztown all have the same handful of big days: late-August move-in, the airport run to Philadelphia or Newark before Thanksgiving and winter break, and formals that need everyone at one venue and back. A department, a club or a group of parents can book a minibus for any of them.
Conferences and Airport Groups
A conference with attendees in 3 hotels needs a morning loop and an evening loop. A team of 20 flying out of PHL together needs one vehicle with room for bags. Our airports page gives drive times to each airport.

Minibus Rental with Driver, or a Sprinter?
- Minibus, 24 to 35 seats. The usual shuttle vehicle. Most models have rear luggage space, the aisle loads quickly, and it fits a hotel’s front drive more easily than a full coach.
- Executive Sprinter, up to 14 seats. Better for small waves, steep or narrow driveways, or a gravel lane out to a farm venue. It also takes about 12 checked bags, which suits a team airport run. There’s more on the van under Sprinter van rental.
- Both at once. A minibus plus a Sprinter cuts a round off the schedule without booking a second bus. The Sprinter runs the stragglers while the minibus handles the main wave.
If the group is leaving together for one long drive, that’s a charter bus, not a shuttle.

Minibus
Best for: wedding shuttles, employee shuttles, church and school groups

Executive Sprinter
Best for: team travel, airport groups, wedding guests
Seat counts are typical for each class and photos show the vehicle type. Your quote names the exact vehicle and its capacity.
Loop Math: How Many Vehicles the Day Needs
Here’s the arithmetic we run on every shuttle request. Take 120 wedding guests, a hotel 15 minutes from the venue, and a 30-seat minibus. With a few minutes of loading at each end, one round trip takes about 40 minutes. With a single bus, the first guests sit at the venue for 2 hours before the last ones arrive; with 2 buses, everyone is there inside an hour. The numbers change with every venue, so treat the table as an illustration.

| Setup | Seats per round | Rounds for 120 guests | First pickup to last drop-off |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 minibus | 30 | 4 | About 2 h 20 |
| 1 minibus and 1 Sprinter | 44 | 3 | About 1 h 40 |
| 2 minibuses | 60 | 2 | About 1 hour |
Return Runs and Shift Changes
The ride home is the harder half, because guests don’t all leave at once. A common plan is a first run after dinner for older guests and families with kids, then a run every 40 minutes until the last one at the end of the night.
Shift shuttles work the same way, built around the arrival window. If 60 workers need to reach the gate between 5:40 and 5:55 a.m. and the park-and-ride lot is 10 minutes away, 2 minibuses making 1 run each beat 1 minibus making 2.

How Booking a Shuttle Bus Rental Works
Send every address, the first and last run times, the busiest window and the riders you expect in it. If the numbers are rough, we’ll plan from the busiest case. Send the shuttle details.
Loading Spots and Run Days
Tell us the job, such as a wedding loop or a shift change, where a bus can load at each end, and which days it runs if it repeats.
Loop Math and Vehicle Count
Dispatch times each round trip, works out how many minibuses or Sprinters the busiest wave needs, and sends a written quote showing the vehicles and the hours.
Run Times, Confirmed
When the quote is accepted, we confirm the first run time, each loading spot and who to call on shuttle day. Final RSVP or shift counts can follow later.
What to Sort Out Before Shuttle Day
Most shuttle hiccups come from the edges of the plan, not the driving. A few things to settle ahead of time:
- Loading spots. Ask the hotel and the venue where a bus can stop. Front drives, side lots and loading docks all have their own rules.
- A contact at each end. Someone at the hotel and someone at the venue who knows the run times and can answer a guest’s question.
- The schedule in writing. A sign at the front desk with the run times saves a dozen phone calls and keeps guests from missing the first bus.
- Long days. A 12-hour shuttle day can run up against the federal limits on a bus driver’s hours, so it may need breaks planned into the quiet stretches or a second driver.
- Winter. A January wedding or a 5 a.m. shift run can meet ice on any back road. Build a few minutes into each loop from December to March.
Your written quote shows how tolls and parking, the driver’s gratuity, any fuel surcharge, any deposit and cancellation are handled for a group booking.

Why Shuttle Hosts Book DT Goods
Shuttle work means knowing the loop: where a hotel lets a bus stop, which venue entrance a bus can take, how long a light holds traffic. Send what you already know about each stop, and we’ll plan the rest of the loop around it.
Based in Orefield
We’re about 15 minutes from Allentown and from ABE, so Route 22 at rush hour, I-78 truck traffic and the Turnpike ramps are old news to us.
One Request, Any Size
A sedan for 2 or a coach for 56: the same form, the same people, one quote.
Always with a Chauffeur or Driver
Nothing here is self-drive. Every booking comes with someone behind the wheel whose job is getting your people there.
The Quote Comes in Writing
You see the price before anything is booked, and no card is ever taken on this website.
Timing Planned Backward
We start from the time that can’t move (a flight, a dinner reservation, a ceremony or a kickoff) and work back to the pickup, with room for traffic or a snowy morning.
Past the Valley, Still One Contact
When a trip starts somewhere else in the country, we arrange it through partner operators and you keep talking to us.
What a Shuttle Costs Depends on the Hours
Shuttle hours usually run from the time the vehicle starts its day to when it’s done. The number of vehicles matters most, then the length of the day, then the date: a June Saturday is in demand in a way a Tuesday in March isn’t. Long midday gaps raise the question of whether the vehicle waits or comes back later, and we can price it both ways. The details are under how pricing works.

Employee Shuttle and Wedding Shuttle Questions
Wedding loops, recurring employee runs, college groups and bigger-than-planned crowds each get an answer here, along with what a shuttle costs.
How Many Guests Can One Wedding Shuttle Move in an Hour?
Roughly its seat count times the round trips it can make in that hour. With a 30-seat minibus and a venue 15 minutes from the hotel, a round trip with loading runs about 40 minutes, so one bus moves about 45 people an hour. A shorter drive moves more. Give us the distance and the arrival window, and we’ll size the shuttle to fit.
Is a Minibus Rental with Driver the Same as a Charter Bus?
Close, but not quite. A minibus seats 24 to 35 and is the usual shuttle vehicle because it loads quickly and fits hotel drives. A charter usually means a 56-seat coach taking a group a long way in one go. For 30 people headed to Atlantic City either can work; for hotel loops, the minibus is the better fit. Our charter bus page covers the long-distance side.
Can You Run an Employee Shuttle on a Regular Schedule?
We quote recurring runs the same way as a single trip. Tell us the pickup lots, the shift times, the days of the week and the expected riders per run, and we’ll suggest a vehicle and timing that covers the busiest shift. Ask about billing for recurring service when you send the request; the corporate page has more on recurring company work.
Do You Run the Campus Shuttles at Lehigh or Lafayette?
No. Campus routes and their timetables belong to the schools. What we run is private group trips: a move-in shuttle between a hotel and the dorms, a Thanksgiving run to the Philadelphia or Newark airport for a dorm floor, a formal at a venue across the Valley. A club, a department, a team or a group of parents can book those.
How Early Should the First Wedding Shuttle Leave?
Work back from having guests seated about 30 minutes before the ceremony. With 1 minibus, a 15-minute drive and 2 runs, the first run leaves the hotel about 90 minutes before the ceremony and the second about 50 minutes before. With 2 buses, a single run each at the 50-minute mark covers it. Ask the hotel where a bus can load.
What If More People Show Up Than We Planned For?
Plan for the high number if your headcount might swing. An extra loop adds time to the booking, and on a tight schedule there may be no gap for one. That’s why we ask for the busiest case up front: it’s easier to run a bus half full than to leave 20 guests waiting in a hotel lobby.
How Much Does Shuttle Bus Rental Cost?
Shuttles are usually priced per vehicle by the hour, with a minimum, so the cost depends on how many vehicles you need and how much time passes between the first pickup and the last drop-off. A gap of several hours at midday changes the math. Your quote shows the vehicles and hours, and the factors are explained under how pricing works.
