Wedding Transportation in the Lehigh Valley, Built Around Your Timeline

Wedding transportation is really 3 jobs on one day: getting the couple where they need to be, moving the wedding party between hotel, ceremony and photos, and getting guests back to the hotel after the last dance. Send the timeline and the headcount, and we’ll fit the vehicles to it.

Quick Quote Start with the Trip Basics

Wedding Transportation for the Couple, the Wedding Party and the Guests

Valley weddings spread out. The ceremony is at a church in Allentown or a campus chapel, and photos happen along the Lehigh or on Main Street in Bethlehem. The reception is in a hotel ballroom, a country club or a barn out past Kutztown or up toward Blue Mountain. Guests from out of town stay in a hotel block near Route 22. Every one of those moves needs a vehicle, a time and someone who knows the road.

We plan wedding transportation in Lehigh Valley terms: real drive times between your venues, real parking at each one. It comes in 3 layers, and most weddings need at least 2 of them.

Wedding Limo: Allentown, Bethlehem and Easton Ceremonies

The couple’s car is usually a stretch limousine, or a business sedan for a quieter exit. It takes the bride, or both partners, to the ceremony, waits through it, carries the couple to photos and then on to the reception. What our limo service page says about stops and hours applies here as well. Planning a sparkler send-off at 10:45? Tell us which door, so the car waits as close to it as the venue allows.

Wedding Party Bus or Sprinter Limo for the Bridal Party

For 8 to 12 people, a Sprinter limo keeps the wedding party together between the hotel, the ceremony and the photo stops. Past 12, a wedding party bus does the same job for a bigger group; the party bus rental page covers sizes from 20 to 40.

The Wedding Guest Shuttle

A wedding guest shuttle runs between the hotel block and the venues, so nobody drives late after the reception. For a wedding shuttle in the Lehigh Valley, that’s usually a minibus for 24 to 35, sometimes paired with an Executive Sprinter for up to 14 when the numbers don’t divide neatly.

Lehigh Valley Venues and the Vehicles That Fit Them

Run 2 practical checks before you choose:

  • Venue access. Barn and farm venues often sit at the end of a long gravel lane with a tight turn at the top. Ask the venue whether a 35-passenger bus has room to pull in and swing around. If it doesn’t, a Sprinter may be the only shuttle that fits.
  • Church curbs. Downtown churches in Allentown and Easton often have no lot and a narrow street out front. Find out where a vehicle can stop for 5 minutes without blocking traffic, and whether the church has a side door closer to it.

How We Plan a Wedding Day

Send whatever timeline you have, even a venue draft. We need 3 times first: the ceremony start, the end of photos and the last dance. Put them on the quote form with the rest in the notes.

  1. Hotel, Ceremony and Reception

Share the addresses for the hotel block, the ceremony and the reception, plus a rough count of guests who will ride, and update it as RSVPs arrive.

  2. Vehicles Matched to Each Venue

Dispatch times the drives between your venues, checks where each vehicle can park, then quotes in writing the hours each vehicle is out, from the couple’s car to the guest shuttle.

  3. Confirmed for the Wedding Day

With your yes, we confirm pickup times and addresses and who your point person calls on the wedding day. If the ceremony or reception time moves, send the revised timeline.

The Math Behind a Wedding Shuttle Loop

Start with riders, not the guest list. Say 140 guests are invited, 70 are in the hotel block and about 45 of those want the shuttle. A 35-seat minibus can’t carry 45 in one trip, so there are 2 ways to do it:

  1. A single minibus making 2 loops. The church is 20 minutes from the hotel. Add 10 minutes to board and 5 to unload, and a round trip takes close to an hour. To land the second load by 2:40, the first has to leave around 1:25, and those guests sit in the pews for over an hour.
  2. A minibus and an Executive Sprinter together. That’s 49 seats in one wave, leaving the hotel at about 2:10. It adds a vehicle to the quote, and it hands the first 35 guests about 45 minutes of their afternoon back.

Guests leave a reception in waves. Plan a first run around 9 p.m. for grandparents and families with young kids, then 2 runs after the last dance. With the hotel 10 minutes away, the bus is back for its next load in about 25 minutes. A bus that runs before the ceremony and again at the end of the night is often booked for the whole span, because sending it back to base between runs saves less than you’d think once the drive each way is counted.

Also Put on the Request

  • The rain plan for photos, because an indoor backup 20 minutes away moves the whole timeline.
  • Anything you’d like on the car, such as ribbons or a sign, so we can confirm it’s allowed.
  • The name and number of your point person for the day.

Why Couples Book DT Goods

Pick one point person who isn’t getting married: a planner, a cousin, a friend with a charged phone. Every timing change goes through them, so the couple never takes a transportation call during the speeches.

  • Based in Orefield

We’re about 15 minutes from Allentown and from ABE, so Route 22 at rush hour, I-78 truck traffic and the Turnpike ramps are old news to us.

  • One Request, Any Size

A sedan for 2 or a coach for 56: the same form, the same people, one quote.

  • Always with a Chauffeur or Driver

Nothing here is self-drive. Every booking comes with someone behind the wheel whose job is getting your people there.

  • The Quote Comes in Writing

You see the price before anything is booked, and no card is ever taken on this website.

  • Timing Planned Backward

We start from the time that can’t move (a flight, a dinner reservation, a ceremony or a kickoff) and work back to the pickup, with room for traffic or a snowy morning.

  • Past the Valley, Still One Contact

When a trip starts somewhere else in the country, we arrange it through partner operators and you keep talking to us.

What Wedding Transportation Costs

A wedding quote follows the hours each vehicle is out, from the couple’s car to the last shuttle run. How pricing works covers minimums and gratuity.

Every Trip Is Quoted, Not Guessed

Hourly bookings are priced by the vehicle and the hours, with a minimum. Tolls, parking and gratuity are listed on the quote, so you see the whole number before you book.

Wedding Guest Shuttle and Limo Questions

Short answers on guest shuttles, limo waiting time, late receptions and out-of-town guests. Put anything else on your quote request.

Do We Need a Guest Shuttle If the Ceremony and Reception Are at the Same Place?

Often yes, just a shorter one. If guests are staying at a hotel 15 minutes away, the shuttle still saves them from driving home late after a long day. With a single venue you only need runs at the start and the end of the night, which keeps the hours down. If the hotel is within walking distance and the route is lit, you may not need one at all.

How Far Ahead Should We Book Wedding Transportation?

As soon as the date and the venues are fixed. Saturdays from May through October tend to fill first, and so do December weekends in Bethlehem, when Christmas City is at its busiest. You don’t need final numbers to ask for a quote. Send an estimate of riders and update it when the RSVPs come in.

Can the Limo Wait During the Ceremony and Photos?

Yes, if it’s booked by the hour; the car and chauffeur stay with you for the whole block. That’s the usual setup for the couple’s car, since it goes from the ceremony to photos to the reception with waits in between. If there’s a long gap, say 3 hours between the ceremony and the reception, ask us to price a split booking as well and compare the 2.

Can We Add a Photo Stop on the Way to the Reception?

Yes. Put the place and roughly how long you’ll need on the quote request, and the stop goes on the day’s timeline. Wedding cars are booked by the hour, so the chauffeur stays with you while the photographer works. Keep a covered spot nearby in mind in case it rains.

What If the Reception Runs Late?

Have your point person call the contact for the day as soon as it’s clear. If the vehicle has no booking after yours, it can usually stay; how overtime is billed is written on your quote. Building a 30-minute cushion into the last shuttle run is easier than arranging overtime at 11 p.m. with a DJ playing behind you.

Do You Do Weddings in the Poconos or Outside the Valley?

Yes. Pocono resort weddings are about an hour to an hour and a half north on PA 33 or the Northeast Extension, and winter dates need a snow plan for the mountain roads. Our notes on Poconos day trips cover the drive. Weddings near Philadelphia, Princeton or the Jersey Shore work the same way as local ones, with longer drive times on the quote.

Can You Bring Out-of-Town Guests from the Airport?

Yes. ABE is a short hop from Orefield, and the Philadelphia and Newark airports are each a 75- to 105-minute drive from the Valley. Airport rides are usually quoted as a flat rate per vehicle, so 4 cousins on the same flight can share an SUV. Put the flight numbers on the request so pickups are planned around the arrival times.
