Sprinter Van Rental with Driver, Not a Self-Drive Rental
Plenty of people searching for a Sprinter end up at a counter that hands over keys. That works if someone in your group wants to steer a van that size through the Lincoln Tunnel, find parking in Midtown and bring it back fueled. We don’t rent that way. Every Sprinter booking comes with a chauffeur, so the person who would have been driving gets to ride with everyone else.
Here’s who usually books one:
- Airport groups. A family reunion flying out of Newark, a team of 11 on the same PHL flight, a wedding party coming home from a destination ceremony.
- New York days. A Broadway matinee, a birthday dinner in Midtown, a museum day for a small club.
- Business travel. Client visits along the I-78 corridor, a board group from Center Valley to Princeton, a roadshow with 4 stops. Our corporate page covers roadshows and site visits.
- Day trips and nights out. The limo-style Sprinter is made for a day trip around the Valley or a bachelorette night with 10 friends.
- Golf and ski trips. A group of 8 golfers and their bags off to a course for the day, or a ski group headed for Camelback or Blue Mountain.
Sprinter Van Rental in Allentown, PA, and the Rest of the Valley
Looking for a Sprinter van with driver near me in Allentown? We’re in Orefield, about 15 minutes from downtown, so a pickup on Hamilton Street, in the West End or near Dorney Park is a short drive for us. Bethlehem, Emmaus and the boroughs around them are close starting points, and Easton adds some drive time at each end. Our Lehigh Valley page has more on service in Allentown.

Executive Sprinter Van Rental or Sprinter Limo
There are 2 Sprinter classes, set up for different days.
- Executive Sprinter: up to 14 riders, about 12 checked bags. The van for airports, offices and game days, built to move a group and its luggage, and the one this page covers.
- Sprinter limo: up to 12 riders, light bags only. A limo-style cabin for day trips, birthdays and small wedding parties, booked through our limousine service.
The 14-Passenger Sprinter, and Why Not 15
You’ll see “15-passenger” in plenty of van listings. On a chauffeured booking the number that matters is riders, and the Executive Sprinter class carries up to 14 plus the chauffeur. For 15 to 20 people the straight answer is a Sprinter plus an SUV, or a minibus with seats to spare.

Bag Math Before You Book
About 12 checked bags is the class-typical figure. A group of 10 with a suitcase and a backpack each fits fine. A group of 14 with 2 suitcases each doesn’t, and that’s when a second vehicle takes the overflow. Golf bags and ski bags count as bigger than they look.
Mercedes Sprinter Van Rental: What the Quote Tells You
On this site, Executive Sprinter means a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter fitted out for passengers. Model year, seat layout and features vary from van to van, so if something specific matters, such as extra headroom for a tall group, put it on the request and the quote will say whether the van has it.

Executive Sprinter
Best for: team travel, airport groups, wedding guests

Sprinter Limo
Best for: day trips, bachelorette nights, small wedding parties
Seat counts are typical for each class and photos show the vehicle type. Your quote names the exact vehicle and its capacity.
How a Chauffeured Sprinter Gets Booked
For airport runs, list the flight number for everyone flying. If the group is split across 2 flights, say so up front, since one van can’t wait at 2 terminals at once. Send the trip on the quote form.
Riders, Bags and Gear
Count every rider, up to 14, and every bag, golf bags, skis and band cases included. Need extra headroom or another feature? Note it on the request.
Bag Math, Then the Quote
Dispatch checks every rider and bag against the van’s space, then quotes the run or the day in writing.
Corners Set Before the Day
Once you’re booked, the confirmation gives the pickup time and address, a contact for the day and, in Manhattan, each corner you’ll be collected from.
Sprinter Van Rental with Driver in PA and New York: How a Day Runs
Newark and the I-78 Run
Newark Liberty is about 75 to 85 miles from Allentown, almost the whole way on I-78 east. Allow 75 to 105 minutes; New Jersey rush hours and the approach near the Turnpike are the slow part. Terminals A, B and C each have their own curb, so tell us the airline. Our Newark page has more on timing.
A Day in Manhattan
Midtown is roughly a 2-hour drive, through either the Lincoln or the Holland Tunnel. A van can’t idle at a Midtown curb for long, so instead of calling when you’re ready, set pickup times and corners in advance and the chauffeur stages nearby. Manhattan’s congestion toll applies below 60th Street. See NYC day trips for a sample plan.

Hourly Days Around the Valley
Client visits, a museum day, a golf outing, a night out in Bethlehem: these are booked by the hour, and the van stays with your group between stops. Give us the stops in order and roughly how long you’ll spend at each.
Winter Runs to the Mountains
Ski days at Camelback mean PA 33 and I-80; Blue Mountain, near Palmerton, is a shorter run north. Both often come with winter weather. Skis and boards ride in the back, so count them with the bags, and leave some slack in the morning pickup when snow is in the forecast.
Tolls, Parking and the Chauffeur’s Time
The Pennsylvania Turnpike is cashless, New Jersey and the Hudson crossings add their own tolls, and Manhattan parking is rarely free. A long day may also include the chauffeur’s time getting to you and back. Your written quote shows how waiting time, tolls and parking, gratuity, fuel and cancellation are handled.

Why Sprinter Groups Book DT Goods
A Sprinter group usually has one person organizing for 10 or more, and that person wants a clear answer on seats, bags and timing. That’s the part we take off their plate.
Based in Orefield
We’re about 15 minutes from Allentown and from ABE, so Route 22 at rush hour, I-78 truck traffic and the Turnpike ramps are old news to us.
One Request, Any Size
A sedan for 2 or a coach for 56: the same form, the same people, one quote.
Always with a Chauffeur or Driver
Nothing here is self-drive. Every booking comes with someone behind the wheel whose job is getting your people there.
The Quote Comes in Writing
You see the price before anything is booked, and no card is ever taken on this website.
Timing Planned Backward
We start from the time that can’t move (a flight, a dinner reservation, a ceremony or a kickoff) and work back to the pickup, with room for traffic or a snowy morning.
Past the Valley, Still One Contact
When a trip starts somewhere else in the country, we arrange it through partner operators and you keep talking to us.
What a Sprinter Costs, and Why It Varies
Airport runs are usually one flat price per vehicle; New York or Valley days are hourly, with a minimum. Wedding Saturdays and holiday weeks are in demand. How pricing works breaks it down.
Mercedes Sprinter Van Rental Questions
Sprinter questions tend to cover who drives, seats and bags, cost and tipping, and how the Executive Sprinter differs from the Sprinter limo.
Can I Rent a Sprinter Van and Drive It Myself?
No. Each Sprinter booking includes a chauffeur, and we don’t hand over keys. A self-drive van comes from a rental counter, and then someone in your group handles the driving, the fuel, the tolls, the parking and the return. With a chauffeured Sprinter the whole group rides, and nobody has to stay sharp for the drive home.
Do You Have a 15-Passenger Sprinter Van with a Driver?
Not for 15 riders. The Executive Sprinter class carries 14 riders at most, not counting the chauffeur, and listings that say 15-passenger often count the driver’s seat. For 15 to 20 people the usual answer is a Sprinter plus an SUV, or a minibus with seats to spare, and we’ll quote whichever fits your headcount and bags.
How Much to Rent a Sprinter Van with Driver?
It depends on the kind of trip. Airport runs are usually a flat rate per vehicle, while a day in New York or around the Valley is billed by the hour with a minimum. Tolls, parking and gratuity are the lines to check on any quote. Send the trip through the quote form for a written number; the same page explains how the pieces fit together.
How Much Do You Tip a Sprinter Van Driver?
First check your quote to see whether gratuity is already on it. If it isn’t included, many riders tip about what they’d leave at a restaurant, and more after a long day with lots of bags or stops. Cash handed to the chauffeur at the end of the trip is the simplest way.
How Many Bags Fit in an Executive Sprinter?
About 12 checked bags is typical for the class, plus carry-ons, so a suitcase and a backpack each works for about 10 riders. Golf bags, skis and band cases take more room than they look, so list them on the request and we’ll plan the space or add a second vehicle.
What’s the Difference Between the Executive Sprinter and the Sprinter Limo?
The Executive Sprinter is the luggage van, for up to 14 riders and about 12 bags. The Sprinter limo is the night-out cabin, for up to 12 with light bags only. The limo is booked through our limousine service.
How Long Does a Sprinter Take from Allentown to Newark Airport?
Usually 75 to 105 minutes in normal traffic, almost entirely on I-78 east. New Jersey’s weekday rush hours stretch that, so a morning flight needs extra margin. The Newark airport page has suggested pickup times by flight time.
Can the Sprinter Wait While We’re in Manhattan?
On an hourly booking the van is yours for the hours you book, but it usually can’t sit at a Midtown curb. Set your pickup times and corners in advance; the chauffeur stages nearby and comes back for each one. Our notes on New York City day trips show how a typical day is laid out.
