Luxury transportation fleet: a silver Mercedes-Benz Sprinter van at dusk, its side door open to cream leather seats

The fleet

A Luxury Transportation Fleet Sized to Your Group

DT Goods books 8 vehicle classes, a luxury transportation fleet that starts with a 3-passenger sedan and ends with a 56-passenger motorcoach. Every booking includes a chauffeur or driver. Match your headcount and your bags to a size on this page, then send us the trip for a written quote.

Quick Quote Start with the Trip Basics

What’s in the Luxury Transportation Fleet

The cards start with the sedan and end with the motorcoach. Each one shows the seats and luggage you’d expect from that kind of vehicle, and leads to the service that books it.

Seat counts are typical for each class and photos show the vehicle type. Your quote names the exact vehicle and its capacity.

How to Size a Group

Start with the real headcount: the person booking, the kids and the friend who “might come.” Then pick the first size that seats everyone with a seat or two to spare. A seat count is a ceiling.

Vehicles for Groups Between Sizes

The awkward range is 15 to 23 people. A Sprinter is too small and a minibus has empty seats. Book the minibus and enjoy the elbow room, split into a Sprinter plus an SUV for up to 20, or take a 20-passenger party bus if it’s a celebration. Past 56, it’s 2 vehicles, and dispatch will suggest the split.

Looking for a Passenger Van with Driver?

That’s the Executive Sprinter: up to 14 riders and a chauffeur at the wheel. With all 14 seats filled it’s a full van, and nobody wants a backpack on their lap for the 90 minutes or so to Newark. Self-drive 12- and 15-seat vans come with keys at a rental counter, and we don’t offer those.

Luggage Capacity: Rules of Thumb

  • Count bags, not people. A suitcase, a carry-on and a backpack is 3 items. Vehicles run out of cargo room long before they run out of seats.
  • Know the class figures. About 3 checked bags in a sedan, about 6 in a full-size SUV, about 12 in an Executive Sprinter, all assuming ordinary suitcases.
  • List the odd shapes. Skis, golf bags, strollers, a cooler, a folding wheelchair: put them on the request.
  • Limos and party buses carry people. A clutch and a jacket, yes. A suitcase, no.
  • Buses differ. Most minibuses have a luggage area at the back; a motorcoach loads bags into bays under the floor.
  • Tight on an airport run? Size up. That’s easier to fix on the quote than at a terminal curb with 4 bags left over.

Who Runs the Vehicle You Book

Some of these classes may be run by partner operators rather than by DT Goods directly, and trips that start outside our service area go through partners too. The quote names the vehicle you get, and if you want to know who operates it, ask before you confirm. When you know roughly what size you need, send us the trip. To see how hourly minimums and flat airport rates work, read how pricing works.

Questions About Seat Counts and Vehicles for Groups

Answers here cover the chauffeur’s seat, asking for a particular vehicle and putting 2 vehicles on one quote.

Do the Seat Counts Include the Chauffeur?

No. The number on each card is passenger seats; the chauffeur or driver has a seat of their own. That’s why a Sprinter that rental sites call a 15-passenger van shows up here as up to 14 riders. Our Sprinter van rental page explains the difference.

Can I Ask for a Specific Vehicle?

Ask for a class, and tell us what matters to you: forward-facing seats for someone who gets carsick, a low step for a grandparent, a color that suits the wedding photos. The quote names the vehicle being priced. If it isn’t what you pictured, say so before you confirm.

Can One Quote Cover 2 Different Vehicles?

Yes. A wedding often pairs a stretch limo for the couple with a minibus for guests, and a company offsite might need a coach plus a sedan for the speaker. Put every vehicle and every pickup on a single request so the timings are planned together.
