Limo Service for Prom and Big Nights Out in the Lehigh Valley

Our limo service is built for the nights people plan around: prom, a 25th anniversary, a birthday dinner on Hamilton Street, a show in Philadelphia. You pick the stretch or the Sprinter limo, we work out the pickups and the clock, and a chauffeur drives it from the first doorstep to the last.

Quick Quote Start with the Trip Basics

Who Books Our Limo Service, and for What

A limo night is mostly a timing problem wearing a nice suit. Somebody has to collect 4 couples from 4 houses, get them to photos before the light fades, and have them at the door before the school closes its arrival window. Somebody else wants 2 hours at dinner, a stop at Wind Creek and a ride home that doesn’t need a designated driver. We plan the timing around those stops and send it back to you in writing.

Limo nights tend to fall into a few groups:

  • Prom and formals: mid-April into June, when high schools across Lehigh and Northampton counties hold their dances.
  • Anniversaries and milestone birthdays: dinner on Main Street in Bethlehem, a nightcap on the SouthSide, home by midnight.
  • Concerts and shows: a PPL Center show on Hamilton Street, or a Broadway matinee with dinner after.
  • Weddings: the limo is usually one vehicle among several, and the wedding transportation page plans the couple’s car, the wedding party and the guest shuttle as one day.
  • Big groups headed to a festival or a gala: past 12 people, a limo stops being the right tool, and event transportation covers the buses and shuttles that take over.

Limo Rental in Allentown, PA, and Out to Easton

If you typed “limo service near me” somewhere between Fogelsville and Easton, here’s the short answer: we’re based at 2867 Post Rd in Orefield, about 15 minutes from Allentown. For Allentown limo service, from the West End to downtown, the first pickup is a short hop, and our Lehigh Valley page has more on the city. Whitehall, Emmaus and Macungie sit in the same close circle. Bethlehem, Nazareth and Easton add some drive time to the start and end of the booking, and the quote shows it plainly.

Stretch Limousine or Sprinter Limo

There are 2 main limo shapes to choose from, and the choice usually comes down to headcount and what people are wearing. A Hummer stretch limo can be booked too, for a prom group or a big night that wants to arrive in something bolder; ask for it on your request, and the written quote confirms its seat count.

Stretch limo rental gets you the car everybody pictures: long, low, with side-facing bench seats for up to 10. It looks great in a driveway photo, and it’s the classic pick for prom couples and anniversary dinners. The catch is the roofline. Getting in and out in a long gown takes a moment, and 10 people in full prom clothes fill the cabin faster than 10 people in jeans.

The Sprinter limo seats up to 12 in a taller van body, so boarding is a step up instead of a crouch down. It suits a bachelorette group, a 50th birthday or a prom group of 5 or 6 couples who would rather not split into 2 cars.

Bigger than 12? Look at a party bus before booking 2 limos. One vehicle keeps the whole group, the photos and the arrival in the same place.

How Booking a Limo Works

Send every stop in order with the time you need to be there; for prom, add the school’s arrival window and the after-prom address. Use the quote form or (610) 555-0123.

  1. Count the Riders and Gowns

Give the true headcount and what they’ll wear, because full prom clothes fill a cabin fast. Add the cell number of one adult who stays reachable all night.

  2. Priced by the Hour

Dispatch suggests a stretch or a Sprinter limo for your group, then sends a written quote with the hours, the vehicle’s house rules and when the clock starts.

  3. Confirm the First Doorstep

Book it and we confirm the first pickup time, the address and who to call if plans shift at 10 p.m. Send the house-by-house order once it’s final.

Limo Rental by the Hour: How the Night Runs and What’s Covered

Limo rental is billed in hours, with a minimum block, so the shape of the night matters more than the miles. Here is a prom Saturday laid out on paper.

Prom Limo in Allentown: A Sample Evening

From the first doorbell to the last drop, the night below is a 7- to 8-hour booking. Between 6:30 and 11:00 the car can wait near the venue, which keeps the hourly clock running, or the evening can be quoted as 2 runs: one to the dance and one home. If the venue is 15 minutes from the houses, ask us to price it both ways.

What to Settle Before the Night

  • One adult contact. Choose a parent whose phone stays on until the last drop and put that number on the request.
  • Addresses in pickup order. Send the final list the week of the dance. Reshuffling houses on the day burns time, and on an hourly booking time is the bill.
  • The school’s rules. Some schools ask students to register their ride ahead or hold firm arrival times. Check the prom packet and tell us what it says.
  • A rain plan for photos. A covered porch or a hotel lobby nearby beats an indoor spot 20 minutes across town.
  • How the hours are counted. Ask whether the clock starts at the first pickup or when the car leaves our base; the quote will spell it out.

The vehicle’s own house rules and the main booking terms come with your quote.

Lehigh Valley Day Trips

Birthdays, anniversaries, family visits and team afternoons all make good day trips, since the point is that nobody drives. The Valley has plenty to fill a day: historic Bethlehem and its Main Street, SteelStacks, Centre Square in Easton and the Crayola Experience, the Lehigh Valley Zoo near Schnecksville and the covered bridges in Lehigh and Northampton counties. Send your list and we’ll set the order.

The Day, Stop by Stop

With limo service billed by the hour, a tight route buys more time at each stop. Start at the stop farthest from home, so the last ride is the short one, and plan on 3 stops for a relaxed day or 4 for a full one. While you’re inside, the chauffeur waits nearby and watches the clock. Opening hours vary by place and season, so check them first.

The Right Vehicle and the Rules at Each Stop

A stretch suits an anniversary, but the Sprinter limo’s taller cabin is easier to climb in and out of 4 times in a day. Groups of 20 to 40 need a party bus, and a 40-passenger bus may have to stop at the road where a place sits down a narrow lane, so dispatch checks every stop before quoting. Many attractions ask parties of 8 or more to book a time, and some limit groups or buses on busy Saturdays and festival weekends. Confirm a time with each stop and send the list to us. Limos carry light bags only, so tell the chauffeur if the group plans a big shopping stop. Book 4 to 6 weeks out for a September or October Saturday, and see our post on planning a Lehigh Valley day trip with a chauffeur for more planning tips.

Why Prom Parents and Couples Book DT Goods

Prom parents want 2 answers from any limo service before the night: who is driving, and which number reaches a person once the dance starts. Ask for both when you confirm.

  • Based in Orefield

We’re about 15 minutes from Allentown and from ABE, so Route 22 at rush hour, I-78 truck traffic and the Turnpike ramps are old news to us.

  • One Request, Any Size

A sedan for 2 or a coach for 56: the same form, the same people, one quote.

  • Always with a Chauffeur or Driver

Nothing here is self-drive. Every booking comes with someone behind the wheel whose job is getting your people there.

  • The Quote Comes in Writing

You see the price before anything is booked, and no card is ever taken on this website.

  • Timing Planned Backward

We start from the time that can’t move (a flight, a dinner reservation, a ceremony or a kickoff) and work back to the pickup, with room for traffic or a snowy morning.

  • Past the Valley, Still One Contact

When a trip starts somewhere else in the country, we arrange it through partner operators and you keep talking to us.

What a Limo Night Costs

The price follows the vehicle and the hours. Prom Saturdays and June wedding weekends go first, so ask early for a limo service quote.

Every Trip Is Quoted, Not Guessed

Hourly bookings are priced by the vehicle and the hours, with a minimum. Tolls, parking and gratuity are listed on the quote, so you see the whole number before you book.

Limo Rental and Prom Limo Questions

Prom comes first: cost, tipping, seating and house-to-house pickups. After that come photo stops and a night out in Philadelphia or New York.

How Much Is a Limo for Prom in the Lehigh Valley?

It depends on the vehicle you choose and how many hours the night runs, so we quote each prom instead of posting one price. A night like the sample on this page lasts roughly 7 to 8 hours from the first house to the last drop. Booking a drop-off run and a pickup run, instead of having the car wait through the dance, can change the total. Send the addresses, the venue and the times, and the written quote will show the hours, the vehicle and how tolls and gratuity are handled. How pricing works explains hourly minimums.

How Much Should You Tip a Limo Chauffeur for Prom?

Check the written quote first, because it states whether gratuity is already on the bill. If it is, you don’t owe a second tip. If it isn’t, most people tip somewhere between 15 and 20 percent for a chauffeured ride, usually at the last drop-off. Parents often settle it ahead of time so the students aren’t counting cash at midnight.

How Many People Fit in a Limo?

A stretch limousine in this class seats up to 10, and a Sprinter limo up to 12. Those are seat counts, though. With full prom dresses, corsages and a bag or two, 8 people in a stretch ride more comfortably than 10. If your group sits right at the limit, tell us the real headcount and what everyone is wearing, and we’ll suggest the size. The quote confirms the exact vehicle.

Can the Limo Pick Up from Several Houses Before Prom?

Yes. List every address in the order you want them and plan on 10 to 15 minutes per house once the parents start taking pictures. Spread 4 pickups over 2 towns and they can use up the first hour, so set the first one earlier than feels necessary. If one couple lives well away from the others, it is often quicker for them to meet the group at another house.

Can We Stop for Photos Before Prom?

Yes. Most groups plan one photo stop, at a park, a garden or a house with a good yard. Add the address and how long you’d like there to the request; it goes on the night’s timeline, and since the limo is booked by the hour, the chauffeur waits while the pictures are taken.

How Far Ahead Should We Book a Prom Limo?

Book once the date is set and you roughly know who’s going. Prom season runs from about mid-April into June, and most schools choose Friday or Saturday nights inside the same short window, so cars for those dates are the first to go. If the group isn’t settled, request a quote with a rough count and update it once the couples are final.

Can We Take the Limo to Dinner and a Show in Philadelphia or New York?

Yes, booked by the hour. Plan on 75 to 105 minutes from Allentown to Center City, longer in the evening rush on the Northeast Extension (I-476). Midtown Manhattan is about 2 hours through the Lincoln or Holland Tunnel, and the congestion toll applies below 60th Street. Curb space near the theaters is scarce, so the chauffeur usually waits nearby and comes back at a time you set.
